The Cordoba Agreement provides for telephone calls from Spain to Gibraltar to be dialled using the international direct dialling code recommended by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) for Gibraltar, 350. This is expected to be implemented by Spain with effect from 10th February 2007.

With effect from that date, calls from Gibraltar to Spain will no longer be made by dialling the 9-digit Spanish subscriber's number only.

Therefore, as from 10th February 2007, telephone subscribers in Gibraltar must call telephone numbers in Spain by dialling 0034 before the 9-digit Spanish number.

This change will not result in any increase in the cost of telephone calls to Spain.

For information on tariffs please refer to the Gibraltar Telephone Directory.
